These come from each brand's franchise disclosure document (FDD), and franchise figures can change. On our example $2,499 job, a 6% royalty is about $150, every job, for as long as you own the business. That is an example, not a promise.
Why we built it this way
Our incentives are directly aligned to help you get more jobs. When you get more jobs, you use more finish. When you use more finish, you order more from us, and that is where we profit. We partnered with a manufacturer to get you a high-quality, professional finish.
A franchise gets paid on the buy-in, plus fees and royalties, whether or not it helped you find customers. We don't take a cut of your jobs, so the only way we do well over time is if you do.
What you own
Your business name, your LLC, your website, your Google profile, your social pages, your phone number and your customer list. If you ever stop working with us, all of it stays with you.
That matters most on the day you want to grow, sell or stop. A customer list and a Google profile full of reviews are worth real money, and they're yours.
What you still get
Not being a franchise doesn't mean you're on your own. You get the business built for you, the training, the equipment, your first 50 leads and weekly live coaching. That's the support people usually buy a franchise for, without the royalty. And with one partner per area, no other FloorIt partner works your homes.
When a franchise might be the better fit
To be fair, a franchise gives you a national name homeowners may already know, and a set rulebook. If those matter more to you than owning your brand and keeping every job's revenue, a franchise can be a fine choice. Read the current FDD, add up every fee, and compare.
