FloorIt cost

What FloorIt costs, and how people pay

Last updated · FloorIt

Quick answer

FloorIt is a one-time investment, and we go over the exact amount on your call because it depends on your market. You can pay in full, split it, or finance it, and financing starts with a soft credit check that doesn't affect your score.

This page covers what the investment pays for, what you keep paying after, and what you never pay.

Why the price isn't on this page

Every area is different. The number of homes, what they are worth and how many have wood floors all change from city to city. We look at your area before your call, so the number we give you fits your market.

That doesn't mean we hide it. You will know the full amount, and every part of it, before you sign anything. Hiding the cost until after you sign is one of the things we will never do.

What the investment covers

  • Your business built in your name in about 14 days: LLC, business name, logo, website, Google profile, social pages, business phone and CRM
  • 12 gallons of FloorIt finish, a two-part, water-based urethane (we plan on about 3 per job)
  • The applicator kit: roller and extension pole, microfiber roller covers, screens, driver and trim pads
  • Your first 3 buffer rentals, covered
  • The full course, from your first 30 days to hiring your first tech
  • Weekly live coaching calls, and a team to ask when something comes up on a job
  • Your first 50 leads, from Facebook and Instagram ads we run under your brand
  • One partner per area: once your area is yours, it is off the market

How people pay

  1. 1

    Pay in full

One payment, and you are done

  2. 2

    Split it

    Break the investment into payments

  3. 3

    Finance it

Starts with a soft credit check that doesn't affect your score

We walk through each option on the call, so you can pick the one that fits your situation.

What you keep paying after

Once your business is running, the main thing you buy from us is finish. Our incentives are directly aligned to help you get more jobs. When you get more jobs, you use more finish. When you use more finish, you order more from us, and that is where we profit. We partnered with a manufacturer to get you a high-quality, professional finish.

After your first 50 leads, we don't charge for leads. When you reorder finish from us, leads come bundled in. You can also run your own marketing with the ad library and training you keep. You also have the normal costs of any business: buffer rentals at about $40 a day, any ads you run yourself, insurance and taxes.

What you never pay

  • No franchise fee
  • No royalties or revenue share
  • No brand ad fund
  • No cut of your jobs
  • No fee to leave

To weigh the investment, compare it with the other two paths. Starting alone, you pay for the setup, the equipment and the trial and error yourself. Buying a franchise, you often pay a fee in the tens of thousands, then a royalty on every job for as long as you own it. In our job example, an average $2,499 job leaves about $1,973 before your labor and taxes. That is an example, not a promise, but it shows what one job can be worth.
