How FloorIt makes money

How FloorIt makes money: the full guide

Last updated · FloorIt

Quick answer

You pay a one-time package when you join, and we cut our profit on it on purpose. We make our money on the finish you reorder, so we only win when you are doing floors.

We don't charge for leads. Your first 50 come with the package, and after that, leads come bundled in when you reorder finish. There are no royalties, no revenue share and no monthly fee. This guide puts the whole money picture in one place, from your side and from ours. Alex also walks through it in the video linked on this page.

How we get paid, in short

The package: what you pay once

We go over the exact amount on your call, because it depends on your area. You see the full amount, and every part of it, before you sign anything. You can pay in full, split it into payments or finance it.

What the package covers and how people pay

Finish: our long-term income

You only reorder finish when you're doing jobs. So we earn more when your calendar is full, and nothing from finish when it's empty. Our job math uses about 1.8 gallons a 1,000 sq ft job.

When you reorder finish from us, leads come bundled in. That's how you keep getting leads from us after your first 50.

Do you have to buy finish from us?

Leads after your first 50

Your first 50 leads come with the package, and we pay the ad spend behind them. After that, we don't charge for leads. When you reorder finish from us, leads come bundled in. You can also run your own ads with the library and training you keep.

Your options after 50 leads

What we never charge

  • No royalty
  • No revenue share or cut of your jobs
  • No brand ad fund
  • No territory fee
  • No monthly fee
  • No fee to leave
What FloorIt does not do

Who pays for what in your first year

The package covers the build, the kit, your first 12 gallons and the training. We pay the ad spend behind your first 50 leads and your first 3 buffer rentals. After that, the running costs of your jobs are yours.

Every first-year cost, in one list

What we earn in a slow month, and in a busy one

In a month with no jobs, we earn nothing from you. In a busy month, we earn on the finish you reorder from us. Our income moves with yours.

Four example months, side by side

How this compares with other programs

A course earns once. An agency earns every month. A franchise earns up front and on every job. When a company earns tells you what it cares about after you pay.

How each kind of program gets paid

Where the model has limits

That's true of any program like ours, and we would rather say it. It's why we check your area before your call, why there's a 30-day guarantee, and why everything we build stays in your name.

You pay for the package when you join, whatever happens next.

Why our incentives line up with yours
